Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and Indian skipper Virat Kohli are on cloud 9 ever since they’ve welcomed their little bundle of joy, a baby girl. Soon after Virat announced the arrival of their princess on Monday, Jan 11, blessings, congratulatory messages and wishes have been pouring in from their friends, fans and family members. Anushka was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital where she delivered the baby. But now here’s the latest update directly coming from the hospital.
As per the latest online reports, no visitors are allowed to meet the new parents. Yes, that’s true! It is being said that no visitors, no chocolates, no flowers and not even their close relatives are allowed to enter the premises to meet the new parents and their newborn. The rules are being followed by the hospital staff owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. The news was shared by a paparazzi on his social media account. Captioning Virushka’s photo, they wrote, “None of the visitors, not even their close relatives are allowed to visit #breachcandyhospital where #AnushkaSharma is admitted for her pregnancy. No gifts and flowers are allowed to be sent inside due to COVID restrictions (sic).”
Announcing the arrival of their daughter, Virat had written in an Insta post, “We are thrilled to share with you that we've been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat (sic).”
